Built for people who live in email.
The everyday work of email should feel quick. Search as you type, reply in place and move on with a keystroke.
Keep your hands on the keys
Press R to reply and E to archive. Find commands and people with ⌘K. Gmail's familiar shortcuts help you move through your inbox without breaking your flow.
Keep your inbox organised
Arial sorts incoming mail into tabs, with AI to sharpen the categorisation. Need you brings questions and unanswered invites to the front, with a reason beside each thread.
Get to your next reply
Summarise a long thread with ⇧S. Use Writing help to draft a response, then edit it in place before you send.
⇧SPick up where you left off.
Open a person from the sidebar to see your conversations together. Check when you last spoke and write them a note right there.
- People appear in your sidebar once you've written to them.
- Find the people you talk to at the same company in one place.
- Recognise people by the names and photos in your Google Contacts.

Bring your personal agent into your inbox.
We're building toward an inbox you and your personal agent can work in together. These are the workflows we're planning.
Review a reply that's already researched
A customer email arrives. Your agent looks up the account and prepares a reply for you to review in Arial.
Act on important mail as it arrives
An important email notifies your personal agent, so it can start the work you've delegated.
Keep a fundraising round moving
Have your agent coordinate investor outreach and follow-ups, send materials and keep track of reminders.
Turn portfolio updates into a briefing
Ask your agent to gather monthly portfolio emails into a Notion document, with the key points ready to review.
Agent connections, including an MCP server and event-driven notifications, are planned for a later release. These workflows aren't available yet.
Stay in control of your email.
Your mail syncs directly between Google and your Mac. When you use AI, Arial explains what it shares and who receives it.
Your mailbox stays with you
Mail syncs directly between Google and your Mac. Arial doesn't store a copy of your mailbox on its servers.
Your Gmail access stays on your Mac
Arial stores its Gmail sign-in key in macOS Keychain. That key is never sent to our servers.
You choose what AI can see
AI features are off by default. Before you enable one, Arial explains what email content it sends and which provider receives it.
You choose which images load
Remote images start blocked. You can choose to load them, while tracking pixels stay blocked. Email content opens in an isolated view.
